What we actually build
One technology, many material problems
Shilai specialises in CNC oscillating knife cutting machines. The same platform can be configured for a gasket sheet held flat by vacuum, a roll of leather fed through a conveyor, a stack of composite plies that must not fray, or a foam insert that needs both a cut profile and a milled cavity.
That focus matters when you compare suppliers. A general industrial trader can quote many machines. A focused machine builder should be able to explain the knife, feed, hold-down and nesting decisions for your material — and say when a different technology is the better answer.
We do not position the oscillating knife as a universal cutter. It is a cold cutting process for flexible, fibrous and composite materials. Metal, glass, stone and cured laminate belong with a different process.
